28.06.26 - Elmwood Primary School, South Woodham Ferrers

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Elmwood Primary School to reveal the winners of our “Design a Creature of the World of Lumara” competition from years 3, 4 & 5. The creativity and imagination on display were truly inspiring, and I’m thrilled to announce that the winning creatures will be featured in the third book of the Lumara series. A huge congratulations to all the talented young designers — your creations are now part of the Lumara universe forever!

14.07.26 - Elmwood Primary School, South Woodham Ferrers

I also had the joy of returning to Elmwood Primary School to run a “Building Your Own Magical World” workshop. The children dove straight into creating their own enchanted lands, complete with unique creatures, hidden realms, and spells of their own invention. Their boundless imagination lit up the room, and it was a privilege to watch the world of Lumara spark so many new adventures in their minds. I can't wait to visit again in September to do the Workshop with new classes.

15.09.26 - Elmwood Primary School, South Woodham Ferrers

This month I returned to Elmwood Primary School for another “Building Your Own Magical World” workshop — this time so the Year 6s who missed the July session could have their turn, and so the new Year 3s could be welcomed into the world of Lumara. Together they created their own enchanted lands, complete with creatures, hidden places and spells of their own invention. Watching both year groups dive in with such imagination was a joy, and it was wonderful to see the their worlds come alive.
